Hello----got the call this morning from LONDON HEALTH SCIENCE to report for Cat Scan and Pre Op on Monday NOV 8/2010.Still no firm date for operation but the 15th and 18th look promiseing.Wish me luck.Will keep you posted.:thumbup:

I feel for you Jake.I have an upcoming AVR and I am also a little anxious.We always imagine it is worse than it actually is.Just conscentrate on the good food you will be getting at the hospital.

Me again.I had an angiogram on Oct 18 th and the nurse had the toughest time trying to draw blood and insert the small caths used to deliver drugs during the angio if required.The first nurse started on my left arm at the wrist and punctured 4 times and never hit a vien.The other nurse seeing...

Met with the heart doctor today (Dr.Mary Lee Myers) Oct28. She explained that my heart was functioning on the right side normally and at about 70 percent on the left side.She plans on correcting this by replacing my aortic valve with a mechanical valve.I requested the ON-X but she has only done...

I think that if the insurance companies are not covering the cost of the machines (testers) then they should be sold without the need for a perscription.If thee insurance company is paying for it I have no problem seeing the doctor for the prescription.
