Thanks, Greg and Agility. One other thing we think might be causing this is that his blood sugar was extremely high. I think they were giving him insulin in the hospital and then was stopped? Not sure. Any of you have blood sugar issues after surgery?

Thank you! I agree that it's possibly endocarditis. He had some kind of fungal infection in a finger a couple of weeks ago. Took antibiotics. Would that be enough to cause endocarditis?

They were unable to fix his mitral valve which was severely calcified. Do you think the symptoms are possibly from this?
