I would go to ER and not delay. Make it crystal clear that you have aortic stenosis and you want to get an echo, no matter how much you need to insist.
I am sorry that this is happening to you. What was their diagnosis?
Doubt it also that it is not heart related, but if you are in sever pain, get to the ER.
It is difficult with no family doctor
this story is repeating around the world. Here in Australia we have fewer and few doctors who are willing to work "regionally" ... oddly the city of Ipswich (which borders the State Capital Brisbane) is classified as "regional" by Department of health. So here (on the other side of the mountain range) in Killarney we just get telehealth lately. Some younger doctors come here once a week to the local nursing home (near to me) so we actually do well by "regional community" standards. I drive to Brisbane (about 2.5 hours) to see anyone who's a specialist. I'm fortunate because I happen to have a long surgical history with the hospital that did my last OHS (in late 2011).

Not really because most of the people who think they want that have no idea what Canadian or British or French or.... healthcare is really like. A woman I work with had a baby in England about 7 years ago and was in a ward with 7 other women. That doesn't even happen at the charity hospitals in the US. Americans want, and usually get, private rooms when they go to the hospital. Americans get upset if they have to wait a few weeks to see a specialist. They have no idea that people in other countries wait much longer. What they really want is the American model for "free."
