Norma typically keeps in pretty close touch with her. Hopefully she will be along to give us an update on her.

I spoke with Dawn on Friday & she sounded ok. She has to go to the hospital this coming Thursday as an outpatient to have a pleural effusion done. They may admit her due to her other health issues but she is not certain yet.
Her nurse, Laura who checks in on her approx twice a week, said she noticed more breathing sounds when she checked her last week, which is good but the sounds are still diminished & it is probably due to the fluid build-up. She was hoping that the HCTZ diuretics they have her on would knock the fluid out & she wouldn't need the tap but unfortunately, they are going to have to do it.
She is also still having computer problems & cannot read or post on VR because she says it takes forever to read posts & even worse if she tries to post a reply! And, her computer person is having some health issues too so she's not sure when the problem will be fixed.
She can still get emails however, so if you want to email her, I believe her email address is on her profile page.
I will be calling her before she goes in on Thursday & then following up when & after the procedure so I will let everyone know how she is doing. I'll also pass on to her that you have been thinking & asking about her. That makes her feel good.....and me too!

That sounds like the famous "Glass Format" problem.
Ask Ross how to set her computer to display the OLD vBulletin Format and things should go much faster.

I shall convey all your thoughts & prayers to Dawn. I am sure that this will lift her spirits & it also makes me feel so good that you all think of her.
You know friends, I think of Dawn's situation all the time --- being confined to a wheelchair for the rest of her life, having CHF, having to depend on the help & care of others & being at a dead-end for any kind of surgical help, having no relatives around for support or love --- when I think of all that she is confronted with, I have to say that my health issues are so insignificant compared to hers.
So, yes, please pray for her & ask God to protect her & see her through her struggles.

P.S. And Al, the problem with her PC is that it has a virus, a bad one (Trojan something or the other), so, I'm afraid that Ross has already tried to help her but it is out of his hands.

Norma, last summer my computer was infected with a very elaborate virus.
I called a home service technician and he charged about $70-90 to clean everything up and install virus protection.

I am sending my best wishes and thoughts to Dawn-Marie. I pray that she finds strength and comfort. Were it mine to give, I'd give her the strength to rest. I know she doesn't need any more courage, her's is infinite. Her compassion is unequalled in anyone else I know. Her faith is steady and unfailing. I admire the strength of this incredible lady's convictions.

Hi Norma,
While I don't know Dawn-Marie, it's clear she's dealing with a host of complicating factors that would prove immensely challenging for anyone. She must be one tough lady! I'll keep her in my thoughts.
