Has anyone heard of or taken Ranolazine as a treatment for A-Fib? It is apparently an approved drug for treatment of angina but more recently is being used to treat A-Fib. It also apparently has fewer side effects than Amiodarone so is thought of as a "safer" alternative. Has anyone been prescribed this drug for treatment of A-Fib? Thanks.

I understand that it is an "off label" use of the drug - it's officially for angina, but has shown benefits for controlling afib.
