KarenS surgery went well on 3/5/07

Received a promising email from the husband of our new member, KarenS. She is the mother of 3 small children.....her surgery was Monday, March 5th at 7:30am. Here is the message he sent out around noon of Tuesday, March 6th........

"Just a quick update, Karen's surgery went well yesterday, a bit longer than anticipated (6 hours). She's still in ICU, but off the ventilator. The goal is to move her to a room either tonight or tomorrow depending on her condition.

I would suspect she will be in the hospital ti'll at least Friday. The good news is, the worst is over. Doctor says with this new valve she should be feeling 100% better."

Sounds great! Let's keep our thoughts with her and wish her well!!
