Hello everyone,

Well I finally made it! After a couple of weeks of cleaning the house, gardening, phone calls, packing, topped off with a 3 day road trip across the country, my partner and I have FINALLY made it to Victoria. And boy, am I exhausted!!! Since our arrival on the weekend, we've been busy house-hunting and tying up loose ends, but I've finally found a spare 5 minutes to let you know I'm still here and to see how everyone is doing (..and I'm glad to see most of you are ticking along OK..).

Aside from needing a few days sleep - just for a change - I'm not too bad. My BP has dropped back to circa 100/55 which means I'm getting my dizzy spells back again. It had gone up to around 110/70 for a while and just that small amount made quite a difference to how much dizziness I was (or was not) experiencing. I guess I'll just have to start munching those Salt & Vinegar chips again......purely for medicinal reasons, you understand! :D

Anyway, I've got to head out and look at another house soon, but "I'll be back"!

Cheers all,
Anna : )

Anna,

Glad to hear from you again! I missed your smiling face :) . Good luck with the house hunting, and I hope the whole relcation works out well for you.

As for me, well, I've just been ticking along as usual :)

Hi Anna,

Hi Anna,

Hi Anna,
Well, I am glad to see that your still alive and kicking...How are things down in Australia? I have always wanted to visit, but that's out of the question until I win the lottery...lol I hope your not overdoing it like I did here about 2 weeks ago...silly me, for thinking that a 38 yr old man should be able to walk a measly 12 mile round trip to get my medicine....W R O N G....!!!!! I ended up in so much pain from the arthritis and the old Blood Pressure went through the roof. The cardiologist said that I had over worked my heart and that I needed to back off for a few days...Let me tell you, that was not the best feeling in the world...I hope your taking things easy too even though your looking for a house...Take Care, Harrybaby666 :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Bill -
Oh dear..... I didn't even realise what a pun I had made!! Probably couldn't have even thought of that one if I'd tried!

Meanwhile I'm looking forward to getting settled so I can start concentrating on the important things.... like the local vineyards ;) :D

Harry -
I read your posts...... you silly sausage!! Mind you, the fact you made 2/3rds of a 12 mile walk is still pretty damn impressive. If you convert that to kms, that's quite a trip and I'd be battling to manage a 1/4 of that at the moment. I've just come from a very flat terrain to the hills, so I imagine that's going to take quite a bit of adjustment :( The downhill's not so bad, but the other way just about kills me. It's really quite lovely with the mountains in the background, but being in the middle of winter it's quite frosty. I think I'm going to have to invest in some thermals or risk looking like the Michellan Man :D

Hope you're doing better and taking it easy. It sounds like you've been going through a bit of a rough patch lately, so I'll be sending positive thoughts your way.

Cheers
Anna : )
