Last day of work until the 6th of July. Headed to Wisconsin tomorrow for a week of sun, I hope, relaxation and fishing. Been spending so much time running with my Mom and other things that I really need this. We are taking our new old dog with us. First time we took one travelling. Can't take Mom this year since she is moving pretty slow and I need this time to wind down. My sister will have to do her share when I am gone. Looks like we might have a cool week but who knows. I also am really excited that we have ordered a new computer from Dell. Got brave and ordered the digital camera(very good price) and a new printer. So as soon as I get this figured out, I am going to post a picture. Printer is a scanner also. We were going to check around but some of my kids have a Dell and have had no problems. The one at home for some reason is not working properly. Ready to throw it out the window. Should be interesting getting started on the new version of windows etc. We are getting the same thing here at work but only for the professional side. All of you stay healthy and safe and enjoy the 4th.

Are you headed anywhere near Bruce, Wisconsin or Ladysmith? We have a house on the Chippewa River 8 miles south of Bruce.
I'm guessing you might be going to the Dells area, but I could be wrong! Enjoy your week!

We are going to Rice Lake area. We are actually on Red Cedar Lake which is between Birchwood and Rice Lake. Been going there for years. I think we are pretty close to Ladysmith-we were there when the tornado hit a few years back. We go to Brill to eat-nice little restaurant there along with a fun bar. I just looked it in the atlas and we are close. We are staying at the Cedar Cove Resort. Next to the campground on Red Cedar. Love that lake. I was 2 when I started going there. Now my kids and their families go. Small world. Do you spend the summer there? I would love to do that. Thanksfor the reply.

We go to Rice Lake to shop! What a small world! We go to Bruce, then head west, I believe. I usually buy clothes at the mall--Hereburger's (sp?). Since we live so far out in the boonies, we think Rice Lake is a shopping mecca!

Cape Girardeau is about a 14 hour trip straight through to the house. We normally drive it in two days. Years ago, when the kids were little, we took three weeks vacation there. Now we only go for a week. We own the place along with my mom and a cousin from Chicago. I wish we could go and spend the whole summer. Maybe next summer; we'll see.

Anyway, once again, have a great trip! I'll be thinking about you.

Just got back to work today. Herbergers had a lot of good sales. Really a nice trip. Gonna go back in August or Sept. Left our boat there to have some motor work done.
