Tomorrow is the surgery date for Al Greengold (xalg). He will be having surgery at Cleveland Clinic, also having the Maze procedure.

I know you're already on your way to CC, Al, but I want to let you know that we'll be waiting to hear of your surgery when you return.

Best wishes and here's to a smooth recovery.

See you later.

Al's surgery

As caring as usual Nancy, you always have something nice to say to everybody. So many people have had surgery ever since I've come to this site and I'm so happy to see that everybody's made it through. I'm confident that Al also will. Let's get a positive chain of thought together for him. Débora

Good luck today, Al- (due to the diefference in time zones, you're probably already back in the ICU!)

I think you're the last of our February surgeries. A busy month.

By the way, has ANYONE heard from Derek's mom about how Derek did?? I've been worried about the little guy. :(

Unfortunately, my last pre-op test came back with some bad blood levels, and the surgery was postponed.

I'll know if I can be re-scheduled for this week, on Monday morning.

Also, this delay will cause me to lose Dr. Cosgrove as my surgeon, sincr he is leaving town for a month.

The plan now is for Dr. Gillinov, who was doing my MAZE procedure, to do the valve repair and bypass as well.

It's frustrating, but it's also out of my hands.

The CC explained that this is one of the main reason's that they're rated so high. They take every precaution before allowing surgery.

Still waiting in Cleveland...

Thanks for the support,
Al
