Hi Gang,

For the first time I guess I can actually say that I am feeling really horrible....I went out to run some errands with my brother and while he was getting his SUV inspected I was browsing around the car lot looking at prospective vehicles...and I couldn't do it...I had to go back and sit in the truck because I got exhausted and winded and once again the chest pains, so I got home and called the doc, and bam...I am going in for a visit ASAP...I guess it's just a little overwhelming to feel as badly as this, but I suppose the good thing is that I want to sleep more now and I am hoping that it's helping me to keep going until things get taken care of...I guess I just had to vent... :) Harrybaby666

I wish I was there to give you a hug in person! Hugs are a great way to raise your spirits and smiles so please consider yourself HUGGED. :) :) You can vent on this forum anytime you want. You are in my prayers. I hope you get this taken care of ASAP.

Dear Harry:

I checked your profile, and found (as I thought I remembered) that you had not as yet had surgery to correct the faulty mitral valve.

My husband also had elevated pulmonary pressures (hypertension), prior to his surgery, in somewhat the same range that you have. Post mitral/aortic valve replacement, these pressures came down to almost normal. Something about the regurgitation causing back pressure. So after the correction, I think you can reasonably assume that things are going to go better for you, and you will feel much, much better, after the initial recovery period.

The tricuspid regurg. I would ask them to look at closely. Sometimes the mitral valve regurg. masks the seriousness of the tricuspid leakage. This happened to my husband, as as you know, he now has sever tricuspid regurgitation, as well as chronic a-fib, etc. The PH will be better once they get you fixed up! - Marybeth
