Last week I went to see a doctor(GP) about the palpitations I'd been having as a result of stress because of the arguments I'd had with my husband, remember? Well, that was at the hospital near my house so, he did an EKG and also a chest x-ray. I got the results today but there's something funny here: the EKG was done by this nice enough nurse, but didn't seem too sure of what she was doing. Before I was called in for the exam, I overheard a conversation between her and another worker about some nasty comment someone else had made about her, and I even remember thinking to myself that she was in a terrible mood, but said nothing. She was polite but as she started to operate the machine it wouldn't work properly and just kept making this annoying beeping noise. After a while she finally managed but I came home with a bad feeling about the whole thing. I might've been right and here's where you, my friends, come into it. I've just got back from the hospital and although the EKG result was in Portuguese obviously, I think you might be able to understand it and help me figure out if it makes any sense:
Conclusion:
-sinais de sobrecarga ventricular esquerda
-fibrose septal
-alteração da repolarização ventricular em paredes inferior e ântero-lateral
Now, what on Earth does all this mean? I'm going to see my cardio a week from Wednesday, but I couldn't help getting curious about it. And if it is accurate after all, does this mean that the time for my fourth surgery is getting closer?? Thanks for any information and/or opinion in advance.
