hi ross,
that is so cool! my dad had a virtual colonoscopy this year and, as with this device, if they find something abnormal or questionable, the patient will need a regular colonoscopy. lucky for him he was clear.

i assume that if the bleeder was lower than the small intestine, this thing wouldn't pick it up, right? it implies that it's battery life is too short to complete documenting the entire gastro tract.

sounds like it's worth a try though?

thanks for that info.; good to know!

how are you doing? still feeling tired? weak? looks like you have tons of gifts that will help replenish any lost red blood cells and iron!!!
enjoy all the goodies and please take it easy and rest up.
be well,
sylvia

I don't think the pill cam will be of any benefit to me now. They did the endoscopy and only found irritation, but no evidence of a recent bleed. It definately came from the upper GI tract, but now they want to do the lower and colonoscopy and I have serious reservations about it.

My BP is still way low. Averaging 85/50 now. Before this happened, 120/70 was my normal. Still fighting the CHF water gain. Legs swell real bad as soon as I put them down. Something is not right with this picture.
