Makes me wish I had a dog again. Animals do remember you regardless of what some people say.

Oh my gosh this made me cry so bad. I'm such a cry bady today anyway. My oldest daughter and her husband left for Hawaii this morning at 4:00. They are moving there. I had them over for dinner Thursday night and I was so brave until she walked out the door and then I just lost it and I can't seem to quit crying today. I've tried to stay really busy but it's not working very well.

It is so true that our animals don't forget us. They love us so much and so unconditionally. I didn't think any other dogs could replace the two that I lost last year and they didn't replace them but they sure make it easier getting over them. My little Maltese that I rescued has become the sweetest dog ever, and she is finally learning to go out side to do her business. She is seven and had been kept in a kennel and used just for breading purposes. Her owner was through with her and had just turned her loose to fend for herself. She was in such bad shape when I found her. She has cost me a fortune to get her well but she has been worth it. She has gained weight and she is trusting us now. Then I have a boxer that I'm keeping for my grandson which is probably mine now! He's a mess but such a sweet dog too. Then there's Felix the cat. He don't like the dogs and they don't like him but they tolerate each other.

This was such a sweet video. Thanks for sending it. Now if I can just stop crying for the day!

SuperBob, thx for posting that videoand that is cute

am a lucky one and I can relate to that, when coming home

Irregardless of being away for 1 hour or for several days, there is a few minutes of high exhuberance greeting from my Golden Retriever when i come home....same for the spouse, even more so when we both walk in at the same time.

For anyone that can, having a good dog closeby makes for easier rehab.

But the circumstances of the geeting for returning soldier make that show of affection especially poigant.

Gotta love how dogs love ya. When I came home from the hospital after one week, my cat gave me a dirty look. When I went to bed that night, did he cuddle up with me? Oh, heck no! He paced from one room to another like a little tiger yowling all night.
