Wheezing and rattling driving me crazy

Wondering if this is a silly question or not, but when I lay down on my left side, I wheeze and rattle like crazy. Surgery next Wednesday for subaortic membrane and repairs to mitral and aortic valves. What is all this racket anyway? Been noticable for months now. Just curious. Thanks! Debbi

You should call and talk to your doctor. It could be fluid retention but it could be some kind of infection and you want to make sure it is noted prior to your hospital admission.
