All this talk of food got me so hungry, so I fired up the outdoor grill & started grilling lunch. Heat your grill to about 400-450.

Wash about 6 or 8 green chile pods, cut a small slit on each one (to keep them from exploding) & grill them. (I used a variety of Anahiem, NMex & Big Jim right from my garden.) Careful not to burn them because then you won't be able to peel the skins off. Place grilled chiles in a damp cloth & allow to sweat for a few minutes; this will make peeling the skins off so much easier. I did not remove the seeds but if you wish, you may do so.

Take a few fresh tomatoes, wash them & cut them length wise & arrange on a plate. (I used Roma because that's what I have coming off in my garden right now). Place your grilled, skinless chilies in the plate with them.

Then, I used (1) Hillshire Farms Turkey Polska Kielbasa & grill it last. Each Kielbasa has 460 grams of sodium so my portion will only be 1/2 & my husband will have the other 1/2.

Take a flour tortilla, heat it on the grill on both sides, remove from heat & place the kielbasa, chilies & tomatoes on the tortilla & CHOMP DOWN!!

It's juicy & all the flavors of the chilies, tomatoes, kielbasa explode in your mouth! It is fantastic & so so easy to fix! :)

Norma, If we ever have a reunion down here you could be the main CHEF..:D
You could whip us up lunch or dinner in no time.
Boy, do I wish you lived closer!!
Lunch looks good!!! All I had was a turkey sandwich & some grapes. :(

Norma (or anyone else) kind of OT but I couldn't figure out where to post it
Have you ever canned or pickled the peppers from your garden? We have tons of Peppers right now, with more to come (also tomatoes, but I make sauce with those and freeze it) and I was looking for an EASY way to can (or really mason jar) them I grew a few extra things this year to save money, and my neighbors pretend they don't see me when I try to get rid of extra lol. BUT I don't want alot of work or alot of steps I found this online http://agoodappetite.blogspot.com/2009/08/pick-peck-of-pickled-peppers.html but was wonderring if anyone had other suggestions.
