It was a very tragic time of yesteryear????.

Divorce rates were very low, Abortion rates were low, suicide rates were low,
teenage pregnancies were an extremely rare occurrence, kid coming home to mom was the standard as was eating dinner together, you didn?t worry about what your kids saw on tv or what kind of sex surveys your school would give your children and you had faith that when you child graduated from high school they could do basic math and read at a high school level. They even prayed to God in school during these sad days!

I could list more agonizing facts of days gone by, but as the people who grew up during these terrible times will tell- the memories are just too painful.

We are so much better as a society by every statistical measure now.
