What to do

We're trying to figure out what to do about Jerry's colonoscopy that's scheduled for Dec 19. It's already a year late. But...he's on that anti-fungal medication for at least 6 mo, maybe a year, and just started it in Oct. It messes with his INR, plus he has to have other blood tests frequently to detect fungus, the medication itself, liver problems, etc.

I'm thinking the stress to the digestive tract of the "clean-out" stuff, plus any adjustments in warfarin he might make, would throw everything off even more. He's 100% for delaying it; he has no symptoms of a problem with the colon.

I would postpone it for the time being unless he's had polyps removed before.

Unfortunately, he had one benign polyp removed 4 years ago. Again, he's willing to risk the wait.
