A New Beginning

OK, I have a question. I have always tried to loose weight and now being on the warafin, it is hard because I cant just have a salad for lunch and dinner n the amount that I would like. I am doing slim fast bars, which are ok, helping a bit, however, i dont seem to be losing the weight that I would like.

has anyone had this issue and do you have suggestions on some weight loss things, foods, etc?

Aja, i agree with Lou and i luv my salades

Eat whatever you want,i eat so much salade and never get tired

of it at all,i don't worry about the inr,honestly salade and I could

survive 3 x daily,but wouldn't just be healthy for me alone. i include

it so often that my dog is addicted to lettuce,because i share with

it with him and if i haven't a saalde ready,he is depressed:p,honest.

Don't get the idea you can't eat salades,trust above what Lou says.

Be sure to check out the Vitamin K content of those Slim Fast bars. Some of them and also some other weight loss bars and protein bars/health bars have a large amount of Vitamin K which can affect your INR. Always read the labels on the bars and shakes too.
 
Eat all the salad you want, eat anything you want and adjust your dose.... I eat at least one salad a day and sometime two.....It's about the dose, not the diet.:)
 
Enjoy your salads, and if you need to reduce the Vit K a bit, then add some iceberg lettuce to it.
Boil an egg and chop up the egg white and throw that in the salad for some protein.
Add more tomato and shredded carrots to the salad....it's not all about the greens :)
