My stepson got married yesterday. I'll try to post some pics to share our special day with you.

The bride is catholic, so a lot of us attended the longest wedding we've ever witnessed. It was beautiful though. This is the church.

Couldn't take pictures during the mass, so here's a picture of the happy couple at the reception. Then there's a picture of my wife with her newly married boy.

One last picture. This is from left to right: my mother, my wife, my mother-in-law. Had to share a pic of my mom since many of you have prayed for her. FYI, she has an appointment with a pulmonologist on July 20. Yeah!

Wonderful pictures, Wise. Congratulations to all - it's so good to see everyone enjoying the joyous event!

Love the stained glass in the church. Where was the reception? Everyone is looking good, congratulations!

Yes, I love the stained glass also; the pictures don't do them justice.

The reception was a reception hall here in town located at a local distillery. Appropriate huh?

One more, and that's all I promise. This was just at the beginning of the service. The mass part of the service hadn't begun, so they let us take pics. I don't know why they wouldn't let us take pictures after mass started.

In this picture, Galen is helping his mother light her candle.

Wise,
Thank you for sharing your happy day with us. Everyone looks beautiful especially the bride and Cindy. Love the dresses.

'Cuz ya just don't!!! Ya don't eat yellow snow, ya don't spit into the wind, and ya don't take pictures during the actual wedding ceremony if you're Episcopal or Catholic. :D

Great pictures and congratulations! Thanks for sharing. Hugs. J.

Congratulations Sherrin on your daughter's engagement. Your son-in-law to be sounds like he'll fit right in with your family. So maybe we'll get to some pics then?

Weddings are good fun, you're right. It was a very nice wedding for sure. To everyone's surprise, Galen's wife sang, as did her mother. They both did great and sang beautifully. At my wedding I did good to talk.

Thanks to all of you for your kind comments. I'm so glad the wedding went so well. I'm equally glad it's over too. We were pooped yesterday and didn't do much.

Nice pics! Thanks for sharing! Your mom looks very happy and healthy! :)

She looked better this weekend that she has in a long time. Just after the wedding she had a real problem breathing. She got in her hot car and had to grab her inhaler. She told me she thought she was "shutting down". I'm so glad she's going to the pulmonologist. He needs to get her off the inhalers and give her a more appropriate treatment. She did look great though.

Thanks so much for sharing these pictures, Wise. You're right about those long ceremonies. Being Catholic myself, I've attended quite a few. ;) ;)

Cindy looks absolutely beautiful, by the way. Please pass that on to her.

Will do.

Also, let us know when you and Andy are coming to Lexington again. I started to invite the two of you to the reception, but was from 3 to 7 and I figured you wouldn't be free; hope I was right.
