Warfarin & other drugs

Hey Everyone,

Just registered with the forums this morning. New patient to the St. Jude aortic valve. I am curious if anyone has information on a book or link that will give a list of drugs that will cause a reaction with the Warfarin. I look forward to this site, it feels like being a member of a new family.

go to warfarinfo.com - it's run by a member of our site who's head of a coumadin clinic in Colorado. It has all the info and links you could want.

If I want to check a particular drug quickly I google the name of the drug and "interactions".

And we are a family - one that welcomes all new members with open arms. Glad you're here - I'm sure you'll have lots of questions - feel free.

Another one is drugdigest.org Or, you can use the google search with a search argument of "drug interactions" and get a bunch of web sites. I'm glad you are looking at these. Its important to always research each and every new drug you may be required to take, whether it is a prescription drug or over-the-counter. Most of us have gotten in trouble with this at least once.
