Though some might find this new study on warfarin and osteoarthritis interesting: Warfarin Use Linked to Knee and Hip Replacement in OA Patients
They studied those taking warfarin for Afib. Personally, I don't see it as a big deal, because the end game with OA patients is always knee and/or hip replacement. It's the "cure" like a valve replacement. In addition, I agree with one commentator "Obesity is a confounding variable; Osteoarthritis progression assessment is very inaccurate." I take it that following routine testing to keep one in range and not running too high is the best practice.
Any thoughts?
