Well, I have the dentist out of the way and I am healing pretty quickly from that. I called to scheduale my AVR and the surgeons office told me I would have to have my dentist fax a clearance to them before they will even put me on the scheduale. So, the dentist faxed them late friday afternoon so I am hoping for a call back on Monday. I don't know how much longer I can wait and I plan to tell them that monday if I have trouble getting on the scheduale. I can't believe how bad I am getting and how fast. Just to walk across the room now causes me to have to sit down for a minute or two. I had to leave work a week ago because I was so short of breath I actually ended up having a panic attack which of course just made things worse. I am just exhausted all the time and almost always short of breath. I get dizzy spells and just feel really odd at times. I was really dreading getting this surgery and I still am but at this point I really feel like I need to get it done and soon. I am actually getting a bit scared by just how bad I feel. Did anyone else go downhill really fast like this? I will post on Monday to hopefully announce a date for my OHS. I am shooting for the week of May 19th.
**On a good note I rode with my parents to a garage sale today because they advertised 2 power lift recliners. I got a brown "leather" one like new for 40 bucks!! What a deal. I am really glad to have it. I can't believe that the chair goes almost completely straight up to help you stand. What a great invention. I plan to sleep in that baby too. :D

Hope you get your date soon- be sure to let us know so we can put you on the calendar and help you over the mountain.

Hope they give you the date Monday. Sending best thoughts and prayers your way. I didn't have symptoms like that prior to surgery -- just a little shortness of breath walking up the basement stairs; that was about all. But we're all different. I did have what may have been a "panic attack" a couple months prior -- probably was flare-up of old inner-ear problem but I feared it was heart-related and wound up getting an ambulance rise to emergency room.

Maybe put on some soothing music and try to relax. Of course if you are having any alarming symptoms, get in touch with your doc promptly.

Wishing you the best....
