Heavy rain, down trees, flooded streets and a light show only storm chasers can admire was the weather last night (Sunday).

I hope all our Canadian members in and around Ontario are safe and dry.

Let us know if all is okay when you all have a chance.

Don't you send that stuff down to me in upstate New York! I've had enough bad weather this year. :)

Seriously, those kind of storms are scary. Glad you are OK.

I'm fine - hydro did a "blip" thing, knocked out the microwave clock and our bedroom clock, but not anything else as far as I know. I was lucky, though, I was just going in the hospital doors * when there wa a big one, and the rain got really heavy (up until then it had been really light); when I got to the desk, the printers were down, they had to run around and turn them all back on!

Where I used to be, Niagara, I heard they got it really bad, Toronto area, Hamilton into Niagara.

* don't panic, physio for the broken wrist today!

We got hammered last evening. Cleveland really got hammered. I came out of the store and I swear the clouds were only 200 to 300 ft off the ground. Needless to say, I was looking for a tornado out of that one. Didn't do much but rain here, but I'm sure that thing turned really ugly for someone south of us.
