OK, VR gang! I just got an e-mail from my friends at the AHA's Orange County office. They want to know if I'd like to be the captain of the VR walk team this year (again). Any of you SoCal members want to join the team and walk at the OC Heart Walk this September 19? It could also be a mini-reunion for any of you who live outside California...

1000 posts !! I'm obviously having a pretty boring morning to have noticed that detail but it's quite a note worthy milestone ? Anyway I wondered what SoCal actually means.. Is it South California by chance ? You must be rolling your eyes by now, but remember I live thousands of miles from the States! I only wish I lived closer though because it's a part of the world I'd love to visit. I hope loads of people join you on the 19th September. Good luck .

Haha! As this is my post #1,001, I have to say that I couldn't have accomplished this feat without all of you here at VR! It took me 5 years, but I got there! (Sorry, didn't have time to prepare a speech)!

I live in Orange county. Do you know where the walk will be? I looked on AHA's site OC site and didn't see anything.

Hi, Luana--
The official Orange County, CA Heart Walk site is www.ocheartwalk.org. I haven't re-registered the walk team as I'm still waiting for others to let me know if they're interested.

It will be September 19. Hope you can make it!
