Hi Everyone,

I want to give an update of my mom. She is doing fine. Its been a year since her mitral valve replaced last Sept. 18. she had her sonogram lastweek came out good. Her INR was 2.0 friday and her Dr want it around 3.0 because she had two mitral valve replaced.

We still can't find insurance for her. She already got denied from kaiser and blueshield because of her health condition. I hope we can find one until her next Dr. appt. Her Cardiologist want her come back in six month, hopefully we have her health insurance then. But she still have to get her INR check every month.

I wish we can get her off on taking the lipitor, and avandia. Boy if you don't have insurance that pill is very expensive. I hope I can keep her off all the other medicine that she is taking right now beside the lanoxin and warafin. I'm sure there is other way to control her cholesterol and her diabetic without taking this pill.

Thank you again for all the respond I've got from my last post.

Estrella I don't know what your income is, but it might just pay for you to check out www.needymeds.com Alot of the pharmaceutical companies offer assistance if you meet their income guidelines. Check into that and see.

Glad to hear things are going well other then the prescription problems and insurance problems. Keep in touch.
