Well, we are just about at the halfway mark, the beginning of march will be the halfway mark until Kevin will be home. Last month went by SO slowly, but this month hasn't been too bad. It's actually gone by fast for me. Kevin isn't having as good of a time as he had hoped. He doesn't like the people he is with, and he misses us at home. We miss him too. I am SO looking forward to picking him up at the airport in June. I have been hanging out with my friends, I had them over last monday. I can't sit at home and mope anymore...it made me miserable, and I wish Kevin had friends over there. I just feel aweful. In a way I feel guilty that I am having fun, while he is lonely. I think I am going to send him one of those Gameboy Advantage things so he has something to do with a couple of games. I think I will save some money and buy him one of those. Well, I better get going. Just thought I would update you...we're doing great!

Hey, Joy. Glad to hear you are coping. That's important to Kevin. And boy will he appreciate you when he gets back. We know it must be very hard on him - and the others, as well.

I think we need to start a campaign to be heard and practiced round the country - When you pass a member of the armed forces - applaud. (just like in the super bowl ad that I missed). Wouldn't that be a tribute to the forces and a very good way to let them know that we support them, whether they are here or there.

Joy,
Congratulations on passing the halfway mark. The longest part of the wait is over, and I'm sure the remaining time will pass quicker.
