nadi

This is to update all concerned about Nadi's condition. She is doing great. Had surgery Monday morning, all went well. She was moved from Surgery ICU to room Tuesday afternoon. Today, she is up walkimg and getting in & out of bed without aid. She's in some pain but she is taking it pretty good.

She says "Hi and thanks for the support" I will post another update in a couple of days unless she comes home before Friday. I'm sure she will furnish details as soon as she gets home.

Nadi's Husband,
Ron

Alright! Congratulations, Nadine - this is gooood news. I am happy for you that you are up and runnin (albeit, slow). Sounds like you are coming along. The pain will go away, promise. Did the infamous truck hit you? Hope not. Looking forward to hearing more good news. God bless

Ron, thanks for letting us know. It's important to us.

Hi Ron-

That's just wonderful news. Congratulations to Nadi, you and the family. I'm wishing her a smooth and uneventful recovery.

Good to hear this! Thanks you so much for the update, I was wondering how things were going.

Take it slowly Nadi, each day will be easier!

great news!

great news!

I'm so glad to hear that you are now officially on the other side of the mountain Nadi! I hope your recovery is quick and complete. Thank you for having Ron post for you, I was waiting for your report. Did you get one of those little heart pillows that people talk about?...........................Betty

Ron,
Thanks for the update on Nadine. I was wondering how things went. It is great to hear that she is doing so well. She will be moving slow for a little while, but she will definately start to slowly pick up some speed. I pray for an uneventful recovery. Please keep us updated. Please let Nadine know we are all thinking about her.

Take Care!
Gail

Thanks Ron.

I'm glad to hear things are going well and hope they continue to do so. Looking forward to hearing that she's home and recovering in her own surroundings. Until then, give her all the help you possibly can. Hospitals are rather short handed and at least in my experience, don't meet the patients needs like a family member could. ;)

Bless your pea-pickin' heart, Ron

Bless your pea-pickin' heart, Ron

for letting us know about Nadi. You know, we're really a bunch of mother hens - and we're insufferably nosy! We're so glad that Nadi's doing well; hope she gets home for the weekend.

Hurray for her.

Make sure you get plenty of rest while she's in the hospital, because you'll be on call 24/7 for a couple of weeks when she comes home.

Bless you all.

Great news about Nadi! Thank you so much for letting us know. Can't wait to see her post from home again. Much love and good thoughts to you both.

Ron - All the "mother hens" have checked in, but here's a comment from the guys, "Thank you for updating us, and for taking such good care of Nadi. She's family here, and we appreciate your efforts."

Glad she's doig so well, so soon, too!

And another comment from a "father hen". Wait - that can't be possible, can it?

Anyways, thanks, Ron for posting and please give Nadine my best. I know how nervous she was beforehand. Tell her I'm one month post-op and feel better every single day. I hope she has our favorite word here for recovery - uneventful!

Paul

Good news Ron. Now be sure you take good care of yourself. Nadi will have some bad days and will be hurting for the first month or so. She will need your help and strength. It takes time to heal and the tendency is for the family to want to hurry things along. Depression is another problem. Remember it is normal for both of you. Nadi because of her pain and injury, you because you love her and want her to get well. Keep coming back to this site and read what others are going through. This will help you learn more and if you care to share your experience you will receive help. We guys tend to want things to get going. When it breaks fix it. When it is fixed lets go! This will take time.
