I have posted in the last few weeks about my hand/arm tingling.....Started about 7 weeks ago..with pain in my arm above wrist..Scared me so, I went to an Orthpaedic surgeon...gave me a brace to wear..next week went back..pain..and I wanted to make this trip to Wisconsin..so he gave me pain pills... which I had to take..due to driving, ect. Came back and went to a Neurologist for EMG test...Hurt like *^%&..but, he said, no Carpal tunnel...May be a pinched nerve......Fast forward..had a statement..EMG test was $1,700..  so, I decided on my own to go to local Chiropractic..NEVER been to one....Pain left after my return trip from Wisconsin..so I was able to go to Fla ..to meet mary/Danny... Tingling still there...so, when I returned home..went to this Chiropractic... only one in small town not far from me..Well, I would like to report..after 4 visits..tingling is all gone.(maybe 5 % left):) He worked mainly just rubbing my right arm..No neck, ect. stuff......NOT pushing Chiropractics... Just massaging my arm...did rub my shoulder with Biofreeze... Talked to me about staying off computer too much:p Careful driving ..too much with right hand... ect..funny, with the 2 specialist I had, orth surgeon and Neurologist ..don't remember them..even touching my hand/arm?Just tests..hate to se the other bills/statements from them... I paided a total of $25.00 for his 4 visits. (Chiropractic).........He did say, maybe 2 more visits next week..but Not concerned ..if I could not come..Grandson back for a week before he leaves for Mexico with his other family.......Want to spend next week with him...Bonnie

gOOD news! I have heard pros and cons about chiros. If it's fixed or better, then this is a pro report. Congratulations.

Did you get one of those wrist rests yet? They do help. Also try to keep your wrist from resting on anything when you are at the computer. I moved my mouse down to where the keyboard is and my hands are lower causing the wrist to be higher and not rest. I would get the tingling in my hand and pretty soon the fingers don't want to work because circulation was cut off.

Bonnie if you read my post about my knees. I had been going to a chiropractor for months. He would give me some relief but the pain always came back with furry. As I said in my post. I finally gave in and went to a Orthopedic surgeon. He worked wonders. He gave me two cortisone shots in both knees. I will have to have both knees replaced in time but he wants me to try eveything else first. Now if I could just lose this stupid 100 lbs I carry around. I've lost 28 just here recently. Pray for me that I can keep it up. The doctor said it can't hurt and it will also let me tolerate it a lot better.

I hope you get some relief for your wrist in long term fashion. Have fun with your grandson. They are grand arent' they.

O.K....scratch the above post...:D  I just returned home from spending the day with my entire family at Lake Lanier Island Waterpark (outside of Atlanta)..We were celebrating an early birthday for my age 14 year old Grandson.... We were all set up with blankets, umbrella's, ect. at the Kiddie area..Mind you, the Kiddie area is huge and deep water..so, I now, have a nice lump on left leg (Grandchild coming down the waterslide and I was going to catch her. )......Grandkids hanging on my neck, ect..playing..:p where were the parents?)...:p Older Grandson and 4 of his friends..(all call me Granbonny, since I have had them too..for years at my house..insisting that I come and play with them on larger rides... ...... We all had a blast....Lots of sun..Not too hot.. Nice thing is that I got to come home.:D son will have a cook-out/spend the night party, ect...I'm sitting here licking my wounds...:p :p :p :p ..don't think even the Chiopractor can get me back in shape.:D ..Arm/hand O.k..just the rest of my body.:D :p :p ..One day of rest..tomorrow, before my Grandson (age 13) will come for the week with me..:D Bonnie
