I had posted on another thread and told you guys that Kevin has to go overseas, I think it was on the 4 more years thread. Anyways, we have found out a lot more information since I posted that. We found out yesterday that everyone in his command has to go unaccompanied for 6 months...They told him that they can either volunteer to go before march, or they go in march. We decided together, that he should go in january, after all, the sooner he goes the sooner he comes home. He's not sure, they are sending them to different places...some to Rota, some to Bahrain, and some to Kuwait. We still aren't sure if he has a choice as to where he will go, but at least it isn't in the immediate fighting area, and none are in Iraq. Once he gets home, he will take about a month of leave and we will go to Japan afterwards. Oh yeah, one of the "perks" of going is they get $271.00 a day per diem. I guess to pay for a place to stay and food, etc... Anyways, I better get going...I need to get Ian ready for school.
