Hi Everyone,
Garry Olexson (underwent Aortic valve replacement) January 4/01 and developed complications. He was admitted to Toronto General Oct 8/01 - now is diagnosed with Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy. They are going to attempt to do alcohol ablation on the blockage either Thursday or Friday of this week. If this doesn't work he is looking at two valve replacements, removing bulge or growth on septum wall just below aortic valve and two bi-passes. This surgery carries significant risk on my husband's life - so will attempt the alcohol ablation first. Anybody had this procedure. Garry was transferred from Vancouver to Toronto. Lula
