Thanks to everyone who responded to my original thread. I took everyones advice and saw my Cardiologist on Friday. We did an echo and it shows some changes since my last one in Feb. My septum has thickened slightly and the left ventrical wall has also thickened slightly. My aortic root is .2cm larger also. I will have a CT tommorow morning to evaluate my aneurysm and will see the surgeon this week to discuss my options. I will let ya'll know what we find out later this week. Thanks again for all the advice!

Rick,

Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers as you begin this journey. What you have is very treatable when it is caught at the right time, as yours has. Best wishes and let us know how you are feeling, physically as well as mentally.

Hi Rick,
So glad to read of your progress with this. The CT will give the surgeon an accurate measurement and look at the aorta. I too want to tell you that you and your wife are not alone going through this.....for us the search for expert help was the most difficult part of the entire experience. You are well on your way on the right journey now! Take good care.

Arlyss
