I have received 3 faxes this week that are advertisements. They are as big as a full page ad in a magazine. This could use up ink very fast. And I am not happy about it. This is a new one on me. Has anyone else had this happen?
I have to leave the fax on all the time because of the business.

Does anyone know if there is a do not fax # to call? We don't advertise the fax # and it is not listed so someone must have picked it up from somewhere we have done business or given the #.

There is a number on the fax to call if the fax was received in error, but I don't know whether to do that or not. Like on the internet sometimes that doesn't work, just makes things worse and I have read not to do that. Is the same true with faxes?

Thanks

Spammers are hitting everything from fax machines to cell phones now. I would take the matter up with your States Attorney General and see if they can help or if they will point you to the proper agency to take care of the problem.

I haven't had this happen yet, but...

Have you tried looking at the very top of the faxes, as they usually post a fax number on the top of the page, and then notifying the phone company? It could be that someone really thinks that this is an actual business, not just a private fax number. I also have a fax machine, due to my health it makes things alot easier when you have to get paperwork from one doc to send to another. Anyway, try what I just suggested if you do find a number at the top, and see if your phone company can notify the people and ask them to stop sending you faxes and explain to them why. I hope this helps. Harrybaby666 :D :D :D
