If many of you are not aware, we have a new warning on the prolonged usage of Tylenol and such based products.

Happens that I rely on this medication for chronic pain relief. Ibuprofen is out because of conteraction with Coumadin. Tylenol does not touch my arthritic pain, migrarines and monthly sysmptoms. I do have to resort to Darvocet at times. Which does have the acetaminophen in it.

Where do we go from here? My doctor does not want me on Celebrex for my early onset Arthritis. Plus, that will not work on a migraine. I am not a big advocate on suffering.

Hi Gina, You will have to give up those 3 drinks a day.:D Darn, there goes my 3 Miller Lites...:D If we valvers dwell on every little thing we put in our mouths, we will all go nuts...I like the Tylenol P.M. to put me to sleep..but try not to take them every night...I always heard that there was a danger taking tylenol if you drank alcohol a lot..liver damage.. but I don't think we valvers need to worry about that..Bonnie

Hi Gina,

I understand that the report was intended to warn those that take TOO much of a dose ot Tylenol that it would cause liver damage. Look into the report and review the dosages that they are referring to.

Here is a link to some good information regarding the Tylenol Warning.

I take Tylenol on occation, but not daily. But, I do take a 325 mg aspirin every day, becuase my doctors have me on the Coumadin and coated Aspirin combination.

Guess this study falls into the old saying "too much of anything can be bad for you".
