New Years eve will always be a big day for me. Actually I think that New Years Day would be even bigger for my husband and family than anything. This was the time when we found out that I had rhuematic heart disease. What a shocker that was Anyways, thank goodness they found it and I am alive because my doctors worked hard to save my life. It's funny, I only go to the UWMC once a year, and every time I go up there, they remember me as the "lady who was pregnant when she came in here." Everybody always comes to see how I am doing. It's kind of nice to go to a medical facility where they actually remember what happens to the patients...especially when something substantial happens in their lives. I just thought I would share this sort of "anniversary."
