Well everyone I will be going in the hospital Sunday the 18th for admission around 2:00pm and the surgery will be Monday morning the 19th at 8:30am central time. Me and my husbands anniversary is the 20th, I didn't realize it until after the doctor set the date, but we are going to celebrate Saturday before I go in the next day. I want to thank you all for comforting me while I've been here talking about the surgery. I pray I will get a repair, but I know things could come out the other way. I will try to get back on here as soon as I can to let everyone know how I'm doing.

Thanks Again
Ronda

Ronda,
We'll all be waiting to hear that you're doing well so send us some news when you can. I'll be thinking about you and hoping that everything goes smoothly. Happy Anniversary!
Sue

Ronda,

Good Luck!! I will say a prayer for you on Sunday and Monday. If it turns out to be a replacement, so be it. You don't want to have to do it again if possible. We will be recovering roughly at the same time so I will be looking for your post-op posts.

Please have your husband post after the surgery to let us know how you are doing. And Happy Anniversary!! :)

Hi Ronda-

Want to wish you the very best surgical result possible. We'll be waiting to hear from you. Take care and God Bless.

Good luck Ronda .... hope you are as lucky as I was with my mitral valve and get that repair .... I'll be thinking of you on Monday.
As for that anniversary -- congratulations & have a REALLY GOOD DINNER the Saturday before.
And try not to think too much about the next couple of days. (Yes, yes -- easier said than done.) The whole thing will be over sooner than you think. Think about a week from next morning when you will have already been home a few days.

Ronda, this is the worst part, the waiting. The rest just happens to you and you get through it. You will have a few bad days, and then things will just keep getting better, albeit slowly at first.

It's such a relief, when it's done.

Rhonda,

Your wait is almost over. Several months ago I went in on a Sunday for surgery on a Monday morning. It was a good way to start off the week. I was home by Saturday and except for a few bumps along the way, things are so much better than before surgery. I hope you get your repair, but if you don't, don't despair (rhyme intended). A properly functioning mechanical beats a diseased malfunctioning valve anyday!

I'll be waiting to see a post telling us how you are doing. May God go with you and protect you this week.

Rhonda,
Will be thinking about you next week. Do have someone post a message after your surgery.

Rhonda,

I hope by this time you are resting comfortably in your own room with your repair behind you!
