Does anyone receive a TV station called "Versus"? Formerly called the Outdoor Life Network.

If so, please contact me in one form or another.

Thanks.

Yes. Edmonton Indy is the name.
I would like it recorded.
A major sporting event being held here in Canada and its not televised live. A taped version will be aired 6 hours after the event.

I must say though, Wow your quick Bina. The 10 days of no vr has not slowed down your extra ordinary perception.

Oh My Gosh that would be great if you could.
It would be called The Rexall Edmonton Indy, tomorrow (Sunday) live on Versus from Edmonton Alberta Canada, starting at 4:00 (my time) till 6:00.

But can you record on a DVD?

Please PM or e-mail me.

Thanks

Oh My, I just noticed this on the web site its for today: 3:20 - 4:50 IndyCar Qualifying Race - Live Versus
This could be a practice for you to see if it would work for tomorrow, cause we don't need the Qualifying to be recorded

The racing's all weekend and of course no one will televise it. The organizers want you to go there, no matter that a bottle of water will cost 5 bucks and hotel room prices are jacked up to 200 bucks a night. Good luck getting it on disc. BTW, what's wrong with waiting for the later broadcast, or can't you get that either?

Pamela, in the later broadcast there will be too much editing done and there is something with the announcers. Some are really good and others are just really bad calling the race - its a guy thing. My S/O and son have gone to the Indy for the past 9 years. First Vancouver and now Edmonton - I stay home (I'm not a die heart race van) and they both like to watch the race again and again and again 3 days before they leave for the next race. It's a guy thing, something I don't care to understand. TSN2 is broadcasting it, they will just have to be happy with that.
Their hotel is $138.00 a night including all the little taxes, which isn't that bad and the are right beside the track at the Ramada - I think.

I got it to work sort of. I'm recording it on DVD-R. It didn't work on my cpu but on my dvd it worked ok. I'll give it a go. It doesn't come on here until 5pm. and it's over at 8pm. I'll record it and play it back. and let you know.
