Turkey Vulture in Flight

This is the latest in my long running attempt to get a good picture of a turkey vulture in flight. I have discovered that getting pictures of birds in flight is a lot harder than it looks.

By the way, if you see one of these guys checking you out---probably not a good sign.

beautiful. guess it is hard to get them as they soar.

I have movies of hummers and you can get them as they feed but getting a still picture is nigh on to impossible.

In Sarasota recently, we saw a flock of buzzards facing a huge alligator to keep it from stealing their catch. It was a genuine face-off. a few buzzards were taking care of the catch while the alligator was held off by the mob. very, very interesting.

Really, I seen one checking out Ross today. Keep up the good work, and please post anymore that you get.
