Had a heck of a couple of weeks here. Was getting ready to celebrate a co-worker's birthday and she found out that her son was killed, by gun, the night before. She did not know about it till she had been at work and they had identified him. He was shot and left on the sidewalk to die. It is sad when a young person, with a huge future, is taken in such a manner. It was hard to take at first, I have not known her or her son for very long. I had seen him a few times, coming to the office to see his mother. So, I found out later and prayed for his safe journey to heaven. To go so young, hurts. I have no children, never will. But I cry for those who pass on to soon. I am sorry, had to share this. Hugs for everyone today.

How very sad. It is truly a heartbreaking situation. I too have a friend and co-worker whose son was shot and killed by a friend of his who was angry with him. I have seen the devastation it created in her life. I pray that your co-worker finds peace and a way to mend her broken heart.

Oh my goodness ... so very sorry. Thoughts/prayers en route....
