I just got my echo report and it just say for doppler impression: trace mitral valve regurgitation,3+ tricuspid valve regurgitation, right ventricular systolic pressure=24mmHg,normal mitral valve morphology, and normal LVEF,estimated at 60%.I do not have the full report because everything else is fine via office.
My echo in 2002 says trivial mitral regurgitation,1+ tricuspid insufficient, trivial pulmonic regurgitation, right ventricle systolic pressure is 23mm/Hg,compare with previous study in 1998 there is evidence of interval change. What does these numbers means and I do not understand this? Can this happen so fast?
The only reason this all came up is because I was suppose to have surgery for my intestine but now it has to wait due to the echo report and the murmur he heard. It's the same murmur that my pcp heard and that's why she sent me for the echo.My surgeon will not do anything until this is cleared up in which I agree with him.Keep you posted!
