And all surrounding counties. Take care..all my Georgia folks down there...Been a rainy, warm, day here.. I can hear thunder up here...and we are 100 miles away.....Terry, Mountain Biker and others.Let us hear...On all Atlanta news....Bonnie

Here in the Cincinnati area we are in the midst of a horrendous thunderstorm. My cats are hiding under the bed. We almost broke a record for temperature today - got up to 60 degrees!!!! Therefore the storms were almost a given. They say there is a chance of tornado activity here but haven't heard any warnings yet.

Stay safe everyone.

Yall have had enough bad weather.. I want to cry everyday..when I drive into Helen and see the destruction from the tornado that hit here after Katrina..and we were 300 miles away... ..Just not the same pretty Village. all trees down on surrounding hills..Very bare looking..Will take many years for them to grow back.Property owners are still working on their property...Logging out the debris.::( Been a crazy year for weather...Bonnie

Bonnie, the house in Tyrone near 74 Highway that got hit by Tornado belonged to a high school friend of my husbands. We were lucky and escaped the bad weather this time. We actually live in what is known as Tornado Alley and have escaped a few bad storms over the past 20 years. I am glad noone appears to have been hurt by these storms. Things can be replaced but not people or pets.

One of our dogs has been wild today. We thought she might be sensing earthquake or maybe she is super sensitive and knew about tornado in the east.
