That's how I make my living.

The year before I started my clinic, warfarin put more people back in the hospital than any other drug. After one year, we had it down to third. It probably won't ever go lower because people get sick, take too much, get bad advice and use faulty reasoning etc.

Maybe it is a good thing that I am allergic to Sulfa Based drugs...... hehehehe

I have had so much trouble with my P/T. It will be 2 yrs. the 1/26 since my stroke. That is why the insurance co. bought the protime machine for me. I have been testing my P/T almost every week for 2 yrs. some times even more. I have stopped letting my primary Dr. because he had no clue what was going on. My cardic dr. isn't alot better though. Two wks. ago I was 1.7 and they increased a little then last week it was 3.7 and they decreased a little. So yeasterday it was 1.7 again. I was on 4mg before and now they had me take 5 mg. yesterday & today. Well now I am sick aaand the primary put me on Omnicef 300 2 cap. daily. I he told me to cut my warfarin in half.( But I learned all time ago not to listen to him. He wanted me to check my protime on mon.-wed. &fri.)Does any of theses fools know what they are doing!!!!!!!! I think not.
