I don't feel too bad about that one. It was gorgeous around here yesterday and today was nice and sunny until about mid-afternoon but that's OK 'cause it was "drill night" at the fire department and I spent most of the evening in turnout gear working with equipment from the engines (we did tours of all the fire apparatus) and the cooler air, a slight breeze, and a wee drizzle made being in the heavy gear comfortable.

If it had been 80° I would have lost a few pounds in sweat/water weight....

Parents were down in Trinidad a few times as part of a research trip for the biology department (my father's a professor) many years ago. Best I've seen are slides and photos, but man did it look nice....


Have a blast in Tobago and feel free to bring back some of that tropicalness to share with us!
