My daughter and her Hubby left New York at 5:30 P.M. today..on their way to Russia to bring home my 2 precious Russian Grandchildren :) :) :) :) They last saw them over there on Dec. 28th..Has been a long wait..but, I want to thank all of my many friends on VR.Com for their prayers and good wishes. They should be back home on March 15th.... :D :D :D Drew is age 3 years and 7 months and Kate is age 20 months. Bio brother/sister... I cannot wait to post a picture of them on VR.Com when they get home :D Bonnie

and we can't wait to see the pictures! All our best wishes for a safe and happy journey for all of them.

Can anyone tell Granbonny is a happy camper? I mean, doesn't she sound just so depressed? :D

Bonnie, it's such a positive charge to hear you talk about these kids, and feel the anticipation in your posts. It makes the morning sweeter.

May it run smoothly for your daughter and hubby!

Best wishes,

Congrats!

Congratulations Bonnie! That's wonderful. I know how much I look forward to seeing our two grandchildren eight hours away in Georgia. Nothing like grandkids! I look forward to seeing their pictures also. Wise

Thanks everyone. My daughter called me at 7 a.m. ( my time...3 P.M.,,Russia time)Their courtdate was over.. :) Judge declared them officially adopted.. :D ...Daughter said, all Russian officials were so nice including the Judge.A lady came from the Orphanage and gave my daughter and her hubby, 2 small crosses..from when the children were baptized. I will always remember their birthmother. She must have been very brave to give them up for a better home.......They still had to go for passports ect. and decided to wait until tomorrow morning to go to Orphanage to pick them up. Also, they had taken a suitcase full of gifts for caretakers, other children, ect....They will ALL board a train for Moscow tomorrow. they have to go to the US Embassy, ect... Seems like they will have to stay over the weekend...but, will give them time to bond with the children, make videos of Russia, ect. before they come home this Monday.....Yes, I'm boucing off the ceiling.. :p P.S. I just received an e-mail from my Grandchildren's doctor..Congrats to me. she is also my daughter's translator. She has been our Angel watching over them. :) Works at a large hospital in their Region and only makes $200.00 a week... :( :( I sent lots of gifts for her age 9 year old son. Loves soccer....Bonnie

Congratulatons - this is going to be a loooong four days for you. I know how excited you must be to finally welcome them on Monday- best wishes, Bonnie!

I guess you are officially a grandmother again, and again! Twice in one day is a pretty good trick, Bonnie! :D
It sounds like they are getting everything accomplished in a smart way. An extra two days will give everyone more time to settle down before the flight home.
Once again, Congratulations to you all!
Love,
Mary

Bonnie,

I am so happy for you and your family. I can't wait to see the pictures of the little ones.

It is so wonderful for your family to welcome 2 children who need so much love. I am sure they will give love in return but it is so great that the world still has people who open their hearts and homes to strangers.

Best wishes to all and don't forget the pics (as if you would :))

Bonnie, what wonderful news? I can hardly wait to see pictures of them. Grandchildren are so wonderful! !
