Our weatherman, who originally is from New Orleans and whose parents spent several months in Cape after Katrina, said on this morning's newscast that oil prices were beginning to climb in anticipation of another Gulf hurricane.

Upgraded to Hurricane- worried and sending best wishes for all our West FL coast members, but particularly worried about Praline and her husband. They've had enough!

I saw on national news this morning that they think it will be a "Florida" hurricane, so Praline and Yaps might escape. Of course that doesn't do much to help Randy, Mark U, Hensylee or other Florida members.

just heard it's downgraded to a tropical storm but Key West is on hurricane watch. It can gather up again if it gets into the hot waters of the gulf. I have seen them bounce around out there for a week or two before they decide what they want to do. When it's gone completely, then we will take that deep breath of relief.
