Ive been busy , getting ready for Ivan, and when I went to bed I was ice cold and tingling ..?? Usual leg pains and chest but the persistant tingling is new..

I've been known to make women do that on occasion, but I'm no where near you, so that can't be it. :D

Hi Yaps, I don't have an answer, but I have had the same thing happen, with no bad results...hopefully that is the case with you.

Ross, you started out my day with a great laugh!!! :)

Hi Yaps....

Hi Yaps....

Morning Yaps,

One, Neuropathy will do that, I am diabetic, so I know that this is where the tingling is at, I don't know if this is your case, but it might be worth looking into...I also had one day a severe tingle all up and down my right arm and I know my Doc at the time told me to get to the ER right away if it happened again....Please, go have it checked out for peace of mind...Take Care, Harrybaby666 :D :D :D

*chuckles uncontrollably*

With many apologies to you, Yaps, I shyly smirked when I read your opening question in this thread: "What will make your whole body tingle??" I immediately thought to myself, 'well, I know something that'll make your body tingle...but that should be reserved for another thread'.

Then, I read the first reply, from our very own Ross, and began chuckling.

*shakes head*

Ya think I've been lonely too long?

*pauses*

As for the actual reason for your inquiry, Yaps, I can't say I have an answer for you. Have you notified your cardiologist?

Attempting to leave thread with some sort of class,
Cort, "Mr MC" / "Mr Road Trip", 30swm/pig valve/pacemaker

Too late, Cort. Class has fled, unattended...

Yaps, have you had any medicine changes lately? Some heart drugs can have this side effect, called hyperesthesia, which is a tingling, usually more pronounced in the hands and feet. Atenolol did that to me. The cardio's office said that it was not a side effect, but the Atenolol website did show it as a side effect.

Best wishes,

I also have the tingling. I have had it since I first started the medication. I take Lanoxin and Coumadin. I have heard and read it both ways on both medications. Yes they do cause tingling and no they don't.
I believe they do. And I have personally known several people that have had tingling of hands and feet attributed to Lanoxin.
And this is not the first time I have heard of it from some of the ones that belong to VR.com
I know that it is annoying and can be uncomfortable at times. And the tingling on top of my head has happened to both my husband and I. And they was caused by Coumadin and Heparin drip and Lovenox. For both of us.
I wish I didn't have it.
I hope that it is nothing more serious with you. I would be interested in a follow up response.

I take atenenol

I take atenenol

But have for about a year, it usually just makes me drowsy, so I take it at night. If I forget it too often... angina reminds me ..lol.. perhaps my b/p is dropping too much.. have seen a differnce there, am seeing dr (if open) today, before we leave town.
Thanks everyone.. and I will try to not be so open from now on..lol..love Yaps

hm.

hm.

Is it possible with all the hurried moving around to depart that you pinched a nerve somewhere? I don't think that should affect your whole body, though. Maybe some heat on the back of your neck to relax you some. Scary feeling. I would definitely check with your doctor. Can't hurt to check! Good luck with the storm.

Marguerite

Yaps,

No worries.... If I offended you (or anyone else) with my comments, I apologize.

Please do keep us posted on your condition....

*turns to Ross*

Yeah, she did....

And, Bob, I tried.....
