TIM W.

Hello to all,
This is Donna(Tim's wife) the surgery went great with no problems. Started 7:30 and done by noon, took ventilator off by 3:30. He was coming out of it by 1:00 and to pull it by 2:00. I think he would have pulled it himself if it was much longer. I think i heard him mooing goodbye as i was leaving. Waking up with the ventilator is what he was not ready for.He will move from ICU Sat. when they get an empty bed(full house).
Thankyou all so very much for the support you gave him. It helped him so much to get info and advice from the experts.I'm sure he will be on A.S.A.P. and pass more info to all of you. I hope I get this sent to you without problems.

thankyou again
Donna

Hi Donna-

Thanks for giving us the great news. I'm so glad it's over and everything went so well. Tell Tim-Hi and a job well done!

Now you go and get some rest, you'll have a sore patient home soon.

Hi Donna

Hi Donna

So glad to hear Tim is doing good...You must take care of yourself. Sounds like he is in good hands..Get him up and walking when he gets to his private room. Don't worry if he doesn't want to eat.. He needs to walk and get that nasty stuff out of his body...If he is in pain..I'm sure the nurses will take care of that..and anything else. Let us hear from you again...Bonnie

Hi Donna!!!

Thank you for posting!!! We're so glad to hear he had a successful surgery!!! Tell him we are thinking of him.....and to remember the motto....walk, walk, walk, breathe, breathe, breathe, nap, nap, nap!!

You take care of yourself, too.....Being in the same position as you, I know how much it takes out of you and how stressed you can become.....Relax and remember, you can't take good care of him if you're an exhausted, emotional wreck!!!

Please let him know he is in our prayers till he walks through the door of his house on Monday????? Tuesday????

Thanks so much for posting.

Evelyn and Tyce

Said he was gonna moo, didn't he.

Thank you so much, Donna - we have been waiting to hear. I know that you are tired and he is sleepy. If you can sleep, too, that will be good.

We know he was so concerned about the throat tube, but it is over now and he has climbed that awesome mountain and reached the top to join us on this good side.

Blessings to you both - Ann

Hi Donna,
Great news! It's all up hill from here. Sounds like he went through the surgery with flying colors.

Thank you Donna

I know he was worried about waking up with the tube still in. Some people do and some don't. The ones that do generally recovery quickly, so maybe that's a good sign. I'm glad all went well. Let him know that were all waiting to hear from him when he feels up to it. Take care of yourself and get some rest. Please keep us posted. :)

Super!!

Super!!

Hi Tim & Donna!

Glad to hear that all went so well and that Tim will be moved out of ICU today! We'll be waiting to hear from you personally, Tim when you feel up to it! Meanwhile, keep up that breathing, walking and napping!:p :p :p :p
