Thunderbirds have arrived

There's an air-show this weekend at the National Guard airport right behind the neighborhood. The Thunderbirds must have just arrived. I hear them roaring overhead. My dog won't be happy.

They practice a couple of times each day right over our house. It's noisy, but I love to watch them. It's a real rush.

They'll be here until Sunday.

Sounds like what I go through around here with Hall of Fame week. They bring in F-18 Hornets and I mean to tell you, those things shake the earth all around when they buzz by with the afterburners on. Scared my poor kitty's half to death.

Saw the Thunderbirds at McChord AFB show in Tacoma last month. I've seen them probably 25 times over the years. I love it.

The last time I saw them was at Navy pier in Chicago years ago. I hope to some day soon take some of the grandkids to see them.
