Hi Ross
You know I've been on Crestor for about a month at 10 mg daily.
Now I having this trouble with my protime from .09 last tues. to 1.4 today this is increase in warfin up 5 to 10mg & two lovenox shots a day for four days now another 4 days of lovenox.

I posted concerning Crestor and INR about two months ago. It takes about two weeks or so before it starts to kick in, but Crestor absolutely can affect your INR. I advised Al about this and I think he added a paragraph to his web site. Chris

Thanks Ross,

I think my Dr. is going to have to put me on a cholesterol reducing drug sometime soon (blah) and I'm glad I just read that article.

Dunno if it's even been approved here in Canada, but hey, better safe than sorry.
