This is a heartwarmer, and I'm happy to say it happened in our family!
My brother called this morning and suggested I check out this link--

The NBC affliliate in St. Louis recently aired a five minute news piece about our nephew, Zach. Zach is autistic, but you'd never know it from the reaction of the students and teachers at the middle school he attends.
Zach is the boy's basketball team manager, and a few weeks ago when they played a local school in basketball, they extended game time by two minutes so Zach, and a boy from the other school who is recovering after surgery for brain cancer, could play in the game.
If you follow the link, Zach's mom, Kim, speaks of the joy we all feel when we watch Zach interact with his peers.
Besides the text, there's also a video link to the story. Kim, and my nephew Michael are in the footage and there's a brief glimpse of my brother and his wife. When Kim talks about the grandpa that took Zach to his first Rams football game, it's my brother, Pat.
