Yes, I'm heading North to Cleveland. I couldn't resist after being referred to the man who invented the kind of cath I need! I'll let you know more details as they evolve. It's now time to schedule child care, etc.

Looks GOOD Kim !

Where did you find his biographical sketch?

I'd like to find a source for such info on other candidates.

'AL'

Hey! If you get the chance, say hi to the guys in M41 and M43 for me...

You probably won't because that's the Children's Hospital area, but I thought I'd just say so anyways. =)

Cleveland's got a great bunch of people. I've been mulling over the idea of trekking out that way some weekend this summer to visit with my aunt (she's on the west side) and poke my head into Cleveland Clinic to do some push-ups for Dr. Mee or something. :D

They are VERY good with what they do, yer in the best of hands.

AL, I was referred to Dr. Heupler by another cardio at the Cleveland Clinic, Dr. Rimmerman. You can research all of their doctors by speciality on their Web site. I couldn't have found Heupler w/out the referral! What a relief.

Nancy, thanks. I'm ready.

Harpoon, I read your post re: nutrition and asthma. Have you ever considered quitting dairy products? My doc said I'm allergic to dairy and that eliminating it from my diet may help my recurring respiratory infections. (I say that with another bout of bronchitis as I drink my soy latte).

Ross, cereal and milk wouldn't do ... unless it were Lucky Charms.

Best,

You do realize that anyone that gets to Cleveland gets harassed by me on the phone don't you? I'd love to make it up there to meet people, but I'm afraid a phone call would have to suffice. Not much good for leaving the immediate territory. :(

He did Joann's 2 times. He is WONDERFUL! He did Joann when he was JUST starting the first time in 1971. He left the Clinic for a few years and came back. He remembered her in 1999. Please tell him that we cry when we hear his name. You will NOT be sorry! What a class man that took the time to talk to our daughter and me about the serious issues. He told us that she could be helped--and she was helped.

Not many doctors would take the time to come down to the conference room to tell us that he remember her from 28 years earlier. He also told us not to panic and that there was hope!

God Bless!

John and Joann
Yes I am crying as I type this!

Kim,

Glad you found your man. I had a hunch you'd end up there.

:)

Bryan, you make me laugh. Thank you.

John and Joann, you make me cry! Yes, what a blessing indeed to have found such a great doctor. It has changed my perspective on what I'm facing. I loved hearing your story re: his compassion. That's definitely my kind of man.

God bless and warm regards,
Kim
